We're writing this article with caution, as we keep getting messages that the glue isn't good, is too thick, or dries too quickly.
This blog article is intended to give you super important information about the glue that you may not have known. Before you complain or blame your glue, first check that you meet all the required points that the product requires.
It's not unknown that everyone wants to buy the "strongest" glue on the market, but that doesn't always mean it's the best for you. Buying the strongest glue usually means it dries the fastest, and this is often where the problem lies.
In this case, it's not the glue, it's that the glue is too fast for you. You should start working in batches to avoid drying out in the future.
At the beginning we therefore always recommend using an adhesive that dries more slowly. But don't worry: it will still do its job perfectly, it will just suit you and your experience level much better.
You can stop imagining that some glues are stronger than others. You can still achieve incredible staying power with slower drying eyelash glue!
Did your glue always work before and now it suddenly doesn't? That means something has changed and it's not the glue. You have to measure and check the humidity and temperature in your studio daily, or rather continuously. Every adhesive, and every product in general, has optimal storage conditions that should always be observed. If you don't know the condition, feel free to ask!
If you don't take good care of your glue, it's not surprising that the glue can clump, stick together, or dry out. It is super important that you clean the glue nozzle after each use, store your glue in an optimal place (cool & dry) as described above and make sure you remove the lid when shaking so that there is no excess glue around the edge of the lid is around. To cover the glue without a lid when shaking, we recommend our cotton pads .
Another tip, always store the glue upright!
Some glues are more runny than others, so you'll need to apply more of it to the lashes or extensions than if you're working with glue, which tends to have a thicker liquid consistency. In order to use the right amount of glue, we have a silicone palette that gives you the optimal amount.
You really need to get to know your glue. You need to know everything about your glue if you want the relationship to last!
